Star cardigan pattern

I found this pattern hard to follow to begin with. Would be good if the videos had sound explaining steps. R4 pattern says ch4 but video shows 5ch. Pattern has BLO in R3 but I’ve no idea what that means and it’s not in the abbreviations . Hopefully the joining up of this will not be a nightmare either.
